A business appears in the directory, and earns the ♥ Loved shortlist, on merit alone. There is no way to pay for a listing, for the badge, or for a better position. We do not accept money in exchange for a place on the shortlist, ever. Advertising on the printed Welcome Card is a separate, clearly-labeled product and has no effect on the directory.

Ratings and review counts are pulled from Google and shown with the date we last checked them. They change over time; the date on the page tells you how fresh ours is. We never invent, inflate, or edit a number or a review quote. Any review shown word-for-word is checked against the real Google review before it is published.

If you own a business here and want your listing corrected or removed, email us and it is done the same day, no questions asked and no argument. This is stronger than asking permission first, because it never delays and always respects a no.

The directory is provided as is, to help people find good local businesses. We do our best to keep it accurate, but we do not guarantee any business's availability, pricing, or service, and we are not responsible for your dealings with them.
